Leslie Carroll Trott

Leslie Carroll Trott, loving daughter and mother, age 59, passed away on October 20, 2010 at her residence. Leslie was born on April 14, 1951 in Washington, DC to Elizabeth Ann Sparks and the late James Blaine Sparks, Jr. She was a graduate of American Uneersity in Washington DC and for many years worked at the CCB Bank from which she retired as an Assistant Vice President. She loved singing, gardening and sharing dinners with her family and friends. Leslie was a parishioner of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, a member of Duke Chapel Choir and Choral Society of Durham. In addition to her mother Leslie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Alison and Alex Byrd, of Durham. A private cremationeervice was held at Hall-Wynne Crematory. Friends may visit from 6:00 8:00 PM Tuesday at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, Durham. Leslie took great joy ineer companion dog Heather.
