Leonora (Lee) Stoddard Courtland

Leonora (Lee) Stoddard Courtland, 78, of Durham, NC, passed away peacefully oneecember 23, 2018, at the Croasdaile Retirement Community. Lee will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, and sister. She is survived by her daughter Katie Courtland and son Jonathan Courtland (both of Durham, NC); her sister and brother-in-law Beverley and Michael Koch (Ponte Vedra Beach, FL); her brother Dan Stoddard (Kennebunk, ME); and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Eric and Janet Soltis Courtland (Wilmington, NC). She was predeceased by her husband Stephen Michael Courtland (Charlotte, NC) and her parents Dan and Leonora Stoddard (St. Augustine, FL). Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 29 at First Presbyterian Church in Durham (305 E. Main Street). The family asks that In lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina.
