Kathryn Kuklinski

Kathryn "Kathy" Kuklinski, of Durham, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 18, 2013, at the age of 70. A graduate of St Joseph's School of Nursing in Elmira, NY, Kathy was a registered nurse who was awarded a Bronze Star while serving with the US Army in Vietnam. Known for her indomitable spirit, infectious laugh and generous heart, Kathy was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. In 2009, after a forty-year career ineealth care, Kathy proudly co-founded and co-directed Jordan Lake School of the Arts JLSA, a small private school community in Apex serving students who are out-of-the-box thinkers and those on the autism spectrum. Kathy is survived by her three children, daughter Alyce Kuklinski and her husband Rick Dinjian of Newton, MA, daughter Beth Kuklinski of Durham, NC, and son Adam Kuklinski and his wife Jill Kuklinski of Alexandria, VA, as well as her four grandchildreneeliza Kuklinski, Jonathan Kuklinski, Adam Dinjian and Johneeo Dinjian.
