Kathleen H. Davis went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday November 2, 2021, at her home with her daughters by her side. She was 93 years of age, born in Granville County on May 1, 1928, to her late parents Walter E. and Lila Yancey Hite.

Upon graduating from Oak Hill High School, she married the love of her life, Lawrence E. Davis and was happily married for 45 years. They had three daughters Kathy D. Bowen (Ronnie), Brenda Davis (deceased), and Mildred Cash (Jerry). They loved and admired their grandchildren: Kathryn Bowen, Connie Spradlin (James), Quentin Bowen (Jennifer), Tammy Raymer (Michael), Steve Perkins (Donna), Michael Perkins (Lorrie), Benji Blackwell (Michael), and Benjamin Blackwell, and Jonathan Cash (Megan). In addition, Kathleen adored her 16 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. In addition, all her caregivers were loving, caring, making her life enjoyable at home.

Kathleen was devoted to her Amis Chapel Church family where she attended regularly and throughout the years serving the Lord in many capacities. She also served in years past as Worthy Matron In the Eastern Star and loved and promoted missions! She loved singing in the choir. The Gideon Organization was dear to her as she worked along with her husband. She dearly loved visiting monthly Meadowview residents in Clarksville with the Amis Chapel Senior Group!

Amis Chapel Baptist Church, Oxford NC, will be the place of her funeral on Friday, November 5, 2021, at 2 PM. Visitation with family will be from 1 PM to 2 PM in the church fellowship hall prior to the service. Officiating will be Rev. Kyle Britt, Rev. Terry Howard, and Rev. Ronald Craddock.

Flowers are welcomed and memorials may be made to the Building Fund or Steeple Fund of Amis Chapel Church.
