Juanita Benson Lassiter

Juanita Benson Lassiter, age 84, of Pittsboro, NC, died Thursday, August 13, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Lassiter was born in Kings Mountain, NC on October 7, 1930, to the late John L. Benson and Lu-Crettia Enee Benson. In addition to her parents she was also preceded ineeath by her husband Robert Edward Lassiter a son, Robert Edward Lassiter Jr., and two brothers, J.L. Benson Jr. and ONeil Benson. Mrs. Lassiter was a Homemaker. She is survived by one son, Mitch Lassiter and wife Beth of Sanford, NC, one daughter, Rhonda Vitagliano and husband Carmine of Nashua, NH, one brother, Leroy Benson and wife Sharon of Mooresville, NC, in laws Jimmie Lassiter of Robbins, NC, Carlton Lassiter and wife Betty of Lillington, NC, and Harold Lassiter and wife Carolyn of Lillington, NC, four grandchildren, Robbie Perry and wife Nikki, Emily P. Burnham and husband John, Sam Lassiter, Abby Lassiter and three great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Saturday, August 15, 2015 from 6PM to 8PM at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service Griffin Chapel. A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 16, 2015 at 3 PM at Pittsboro Baptist Church with Rev. Tripp Harmon officiating. Burial will follow at 6 PM at Pine Rest Cemetery, Plank Road, Robbins, NC.
