Joyce G. Roberts

FRANKLINTON- Joyce Goswick Roberts, 81, died Friday, October 14, 2011 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born on neember 1, 1929 she was the daughter of the late Henry Goswick and Hixie Wheeler Goswick. Joyce was a lifetime member of Perry's Chapel Baptist Church, The Wake Forest Chapter of the Eastern Star, Franklinton Americaneegion Auxiliary Unit 52 for 62 years, founding President of Franklinton Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, and the owner of Roberts' Septic Cleaners. Joyce was known as an outstanding cook and caregiver for the Franklinton community. She will be dearly missed by the entire community. She was preceded ineeath by her husband, Arnold Roberts; and sons, Albert Roberts and Dean Roberts. Joyce is survived by her daughter, Denee R. Roberts and son, Craig G. Roberts both of Franklinton; special nephews, Steward Goswick and Jacob Goswick and; special niece, Rebecca Goswick; and many other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 18. 2011, from the Chapel of Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, 504 East Mason Street, Franklinton. Friends may visit from 6:30-8:30 PM Monday, October 17, 2011 at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, Franklinton Chapel.
