Josephine Jo Cable Fowler

Josephine "Jo" Cable Fowler, age 70, died Saturday, February 16, 2008 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh. Jo was born in Forney Creek, NC to the late Daniel L. and Myrtle Fore Cable on August 21, 1937. She was employed with Burlington Industries for many years before her retirement in 1996. Jo is survived by her daughter, Tammy Jo Plumley of Franklinton, NC; her son, William Rodger Elliott, also of Franklinton; her step-sons: Johnny Jackson Fowler, Jr. of Oklahoma; and Bruce Fowler of North Myrtle Beach, SC; her grandchildren: Alex, Brandon, and Christopher Plumley of Franklinton; and Michael and Anthoneelliott of Florida; and her sister, Imogene Lawing of Marion, NC. She was preceded ineeath by her husband, Johnny Jackson Fowler; and her sisters: Franee Cable and Tiny McClure. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Clyde Waiden presiding. Friends may visit Monday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at Franklin Funeral Service, 504 E. Mason St. in Franklinton.
