Joseph Henry Hill

DURHAM ??? Joseph Henry Hill, aged 72, died Friday, March 6, 2015 at Eno Pointe Assisted Living. Joe was born in Snow Hill, NC oneebruary 9, 1943 to the late Henry Hill and Josie Radford Hill. Joseph was a dedicated farmer who loved working in his garden from which he generously gave the bounty to friends, family and neighbors. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to those ineeed. He spent over 30 years working as a sheet metal fabricator for Tillmaneeating & Air. He was a die-hard Duke fan aneenjoyed attending all sportineevents. Joseph was active member of Ephesus Baptist Church, where he participated in many church activities over the years. Joseph is survived by one son, Kevin H. Hill of Durham, two sisters, Dorothy Bynum and Sallie Beaman, both of Snow Hill, NC. He was preceded ineeath by his wife, Linda Hill. Friends may visit from 6:00-8:00pm on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, in Durham Graveside services will be held 11:00 am oneednesday, March 11, 2015 in Markham Memorial Gardens with Rev. Dr. Harry Byrd and Rev. Dr. Ron Cumbie officiating.
