Jessie Hobgood Milton

Mrs. Jessie Clark Hobgood Milton, age 97, of 6101 old Roxboro Road, died Tuesday October 5th 2010 at her home. A native of Granville County, daughter of the late William W. and Mary Iva Meadows Clark, and widow of Eugene B. Hobgood and Ollie Milton. A member of Trinity Uneed Methodist Church, a retired nurses aid at Granville Medical Center and a homemaker. Funeral services will be conducted Friday October 8th at 3:00 PM at Trinity Uneed Methodist Church by Rev. Stewart Crank. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Surviving are her daughters, Mary H. Crisp of Robbinsville, Barbara H. Ratliff of Oxford. and Linda H. Bridges of Roxboro, her sons, James Barnett Hobgood of Roxboro, Milton Norman Hobgood of Cary, Alvin Byrd Hobgood of Creedmoor; eighteen grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son William "Billy" Hobgood. Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Trinity Uneed Methodist Church in care of Josephine Huff, 6622 old Roxboro Road, Oxford, NC 27565 The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM in the fellowship hall of the Church and other times at the home.
