Jenneer Robertsoneeza died Wednesday evening, July 8, 2009 at Duke Medical Center surrounded by her loving family after a valiant three year battle with cancer. She was 46 years old. Jenny was born in St. Joseph Missouri on July 27, 1962. She graduated from Northern High School in 1980 and was employed by Verizon for many years until her illness. Jenny was very athletic, loved animals and a friend to all her knew her. She will be missed dearly by all of her family and friends. She was well know by her peers at Verizon as an advocate for the Red Cross organizing company semi-annual blood drives at various company sites in North Carolina. Jenneer is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Johneeza, of Durham; her childreneemily and David Robertson, stepson Gabriel Meza her mother, Renee Alexander; her sister, Theresa Shouse and husband, Steve, all of Durham; and several loving nieces. She was preceded ineeath by her father, Walt Alexander. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered 10:00 A.M. Monday, July 13, 2009 from Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father William McIntyre, OFM, presiding. Burial will follow in St. Matthew Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit Sunday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at Hall-Wynne Funeral Home in Durham. In lieu of flowers, contributions ineenneer's memory may be made to the Duke Comprehensive Cancer Center, Ovarian Cancer Research, DUMC, Box 3079, Durham, NC 27710.
