Jeaneeasley Jones, 88, of Oxford, NC died Thursday, March 21, 2019.?? She was born in Granville County on neember 20, 1930 to her late parents, James P. and Ada Cullom Beasley. ??She met and married her husband, Norman S. Jones, Jr and started a family. Jean was a woman of many friends and talents.?? She always had a project on going and loved to cook and sew and tend to her ever-growing family.?? She loved spending time at the beach with the waves crashing and her feet in the sand, watching all her ???children??? playing. Jean is survived by her children, Gwyn Currin (Charles) of Oxford, NC, Keith Jones (Cynee) of Oxford, NC, Brenda Gupton (John) of Youngsville, NC, and Laura Leigh Haigler of Jamestown, NC; ??her grandchildren, Tate Jones (Tanya), Lucas Jones (Leslie), Zackery Jones (Abby), Kristin Archer (Andy), Jill Norwood (Matt), Kelly Gupton, Joshua Gupton and Sara Kate Haigler; her great grandchildren, Holden Jones, Aiden Archer, Abel Jones, Landon Norwood, Katelyn Jones, Silas Jones, Kara Archer, Austin Archer, and Kayson Norwood; her sister, Juanita O???Briant of Conway, SC and neerous nieces and nephews and many lovineextended family and friends too neerous to nee, who will greatly miss her. In addition to her parents, Jean is predeceased by her beloved husband, Norman S. Jones, Jr., five brothers, and six sisters. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2019, at 2:00 pm at Oxford Baptist Church, 16 Main St., Oxford, NC.?? Burial will follow ineeadowview Cemetery, Oxford, NC.?? The family will receive guests on Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Gentry-neell and Vaughan Funeral Home, Oxford, NC.?? Family will also be recieveing guests at Keith and Cynee's House.
