Jean Goodwineeisner, 83, died Thursday at home with her family at her side, following a brief illness. She was born in Chatham County to the late Charles and Margaret Marks Goodwin. Mrs. Weisner moved to Durham as a young girl and graduated from Lowes Grove High School. While in school she played on the basketball team which won the state championship. She worked at American Tobacco Company as a medical clerk for over 40 years. Mrs. Weisner was a charter member of Trianee Presbyterian Church, where she sang in the choir and was active in the life of the church over many years. Surviving are her husband of 65 years, William H. Weisner; her children, Donna W. Moore and husband, Roger of Farmville; and Brad Wesiner and wife, Elaine of Rocky Mount; grandchildren, Stan & Kelli Moore, and Nathan and Kevineeisner; a brother, Rudolph Goodwin of Harrisburg; and sisters, Frances Riley and Betty McBroom of Durham, Ruby Green of Matthews and Rebecca Boykin of Rocky Mount. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday from Trianee Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Ray Cobb and the Rev. John
