Janee Little Harvey

Janee Little Harvey passed away peacefully oneeptember 19, 2008. She was a dedicated wife of 47 years, mother to three children, and grandmother of six. She was a native of Newton, NC and attended Appalachian State Teachers College in Boone NC, where she met her husband, William J. Harvey, Jr. They married in 1961 and raised three children in Durham, NC. She was an avid tennis player and loved her garden. Mrs. Harvey cherished the times with her grandchildren and children and relished her annual beach trip with her close friends. She is predeceased by her parents Arthur C. Little and Florence Killian Little and her oldest son Joseph Jerome. She is survived by her twin sister Joyce Fidler, daughter Virginia Harvey Scoville, her husband Mike and childreneeena and Alex, son William III and wife Karen, and their daughter Natalia, daughter-in-law Kim and grandchildren Arthur Jullian, James Killian, and John Carter. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 AM Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Fr. Robert Roncase will preside. Burial will be in St. Matthews Catholic Church Cemetery, Durham, NC. Flowers are acceptable. Memorials may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, N.C Chapter, 5950 Fairview Road, Suite 250, Charlotte, NC 28210 Visitation from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at Hall-Wynne Funeral Home.
