Jane Elizabeth Adcock

Jane Elizabeth Adcock, age 58, sadly passed away on Friday, September 15, 2023. She was born on March 29, 1965, in Granville County to the late Thomas and Lugene Adcock.

She was the most wonderful mother and Mimi that anyone could ask for. She was more than happy to be the central eye of her children and grandchildren. Anyone who knew them knew that they were a star in her eyes, and that’s all that mattered to her. Jane retired after 30 years with the state at Murdoch Center in Butner, NC.

She has entered the gates of heaven with her parents, Thomas and Lugene Adcock and her nephew, Jeffrey Wayne Huff.

Survived by her children, Stacy Autrey (Jay), Heather West, Nicole Adcock (Corey), and Melissa Chappell (Joseph). She adored her 7 grandchildren, Kailee(K-bug), Addison (Addy), Christina (Tinka-bell), Kacie (KC), Aubrey (Aubs), Alyssa (Tiny), & Andrew (Bookie). Jane will be greatly missed by her 2 sisters, Judy Huff (David) & Barbara Wilson (Jasper). She also had a niece, nephew, family & friends that she loved so dearly.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at 3:30 pm at Providence Baptist Church, 4603 Old NC 75, Oxford, NC and officiated by Reverend William Wheeler. Visitation for family and friends will be from 2:00-3:30 pm in the fellowship hall and sanctuary. A graveside service will follow at the Providence Baptist Church cemetery. Family & friends are invited to show sympathy to the family at the home of Judy & David Huff.
