Durham, NC Jane C. Webster Jane Cooke Webster, 76, of Durham died oneebruary 20, 2017 after a long illness and with her family by her side.?? She was the daughter of the late George H. Cooke and Margaret (Atkins) Cooke.?? She is survived by her husband Robert Wayne Webster.?? Her daughter, Christie (Brad) Heath of Dunn, NC and her son, David (Jenica) Webster of New Hill, NC and also eight grandchildren. Jane was a native of Durham and a retired administrative employee of twenty-eight years with the Liggett & Myers Tobacco Company.?? She also was a charter member of Hope Valley Baptist Church.?? She was an avid gardener at home and loved spending her time shopping and negotiating for her family. Jane also loved Duke Basketball and spending time with her family. The family will receive friends at Hope Valley Baptist Church at 1:00 on Friday, February, 24, 2017 with Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. Bill Bigger officiating.??
