OXFORD: James Robert Frazier, age 87, died Saturday, February 7, 2015. A native of Granville County, he was the son of Willie Calvin Frazier and Lelia Blanks Frazier. James was owner of F-S Lumber Company, he was a member of Stovall Baptist Church, where he served as Deacon and Sunday school teacher. James sang in the choir at Tabb's Creek Baptist Church, was a member of the Henry F. Grange Lodge, The Lion's Club and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Stovall United Methodist Church by Reverends John Yount and Woodrow Freeze. Burial will be at Stovall Memorial Gardens in Stovall. The family will receive friends Monday, February 9, at Stovall United Methodist Church from 7:00-8:30 pm. Surviving is his wife, Rowena Vaughan Frazier; sons, Harold Frazier (Carolyn) and Bill Frazier (Nancy) both of Oxford; grandchildren, Crystal Frazier, James "Jamie Robert Frazier, Radford Frazier, and Robert Frazier. A brother, Harold Frazier preceded him in death. Flowers are accepted or memorials to American Cancer Association, 8300 Health Park, Suite 10, Raleigh, NC 27615.
