James Crawford Sneed

OXFORD: James "Jimmy" Crawford Sneed, died Tuesday 28, 2012 at his home. He was a native of Granville Co. and was the son of the late Henry Ernest and Jewell Hughes Sneed. He was a member of Enon Baptist Church, member of the Iola Yancey Sunday School Class, Usher Board and the cooking committee. Jimmy was a member of the Providence Fire Department. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, August 30, 2012 at 11:00 AM in Enon Baptist Church by Rev. Steve Brown. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the services in the community building. Surviving is his wife, Shirley Powell Sneed, daughters, Cynthia "Cindy" Sneed ParkerTim of Oxford, and Arlene Sneed of Rougemont; a brother, Ronald Ernest SneedShelba of Raleigh; grandchildren, Chelsea, James, Gabrielle Parker and Raven Latta.
