James Bradley Powell

DURHAM-James Bradley Powell, age 65, died at home on October 9, 2017. James was born in Durham, NC on January 11, 1952 to BJ Powell, Jr and Barbara Powell Jackson. James graduated from Durham High and later received his Undergraduate Degree from UNC and his MBA from Duke Uneersity. James is survived by his wife, Mary C. Powell, son, Christopher Bradley Powell and wife Michelle; mother Barbara Powell Jackson; two grandchildren Carter and Millar Powell; two brothers Joseph and John Powell; two sisters Vivian Powell Whitman and Sue Coldwell. James was preceded ineeath by his father. A Graveside service will be held 11:30 a.m. oneednesday, October 11, 2017 at Maplewood Cemetery in Durham. Friends may visit with the family from 10-11:00 a.m. oneednesday, October 11, 2017 at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, 1113 W. Main Street, Durham, NC 27701.
