CHAPEL HILL: James Aneew "Jimmy" Mousmoules, died Wednesday in UNC Hospital. He was born October 26, 1921 ineetersburg, VA to the late Aneew and Zoi Mousmoules. James' parents were founding members of St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church, where he was also a member. A 1940 graduate of Durham High School, Jimmy attended Duke Uneersity. He ran the very popular Jeff's Campus Confectionery on Franklin St. in Chapel Hill until retirement in 1997. He proudly served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WW II. Jimmy is survived by his sons, Aneew and Jordan Mousmoules of Chapel Hill; a sister, Stella Mousmoules of Durham; and his sweet dog, Amber. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Lena; a sister, Paula Heonis and brother, John Mousmoules. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday from St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church, with Fr. James Berends presiding. Burial will follow in Woodlawneemetery. Friends may visit 7-9 PM Friday at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, with the Trisagion litany at 8:30.
