Jacqueline Iris Mitchell

Jacqueline Iris Mitchell "Jackie" was born March 6, 1928 in Durham, NC to Heneetta Byrd Mitchell and Thomas Michael Mitchell. She graduated from Durham High School in 1946. Jackie was employed by Tomlinson Supply for 46 Years. She had many friends aneenjoyed life to the fullest. She was an avid bowler and loved to read. She and her bowling teammates traveled all over the Uneed States winning many bowling titles. She maintained a sense of humor aneexhibited remarkable courage during her illness. A special thanks to the care given by Chapel Hill Internal Medicine, the staff of UNC hospitals, and Cambridge Hills Assisted Living. In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to the Chatham County Council on Aging.
