Holly Celestine Ditch

Ms. Holly Celestine Ditch, age 65, died on Monday, January 2, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Valley Howard Ditch and Thelma Eusteynia Jenkins Ditch and was born on January 25, 1957.

Holly was a strong woman of faith. She retired from Plastic Ingenuity as a Prototype Technician after 30 years. She was an active sexton in the church and faithfully taught children in Sunday School. She was a long-time member of Hester Baptist Church and loved her community, her children and especially, her precious grandchildren.

Holly is survived by her sons, Nathan Alexander Stovall, Eric Boone Stovall, Zachary Raymond Schmidt and Ryan Logan Schmidt; her brothers, Billy Williams and Paul Ditch; her sisters, Norma Williams Lumpkin and Nancy Williams Bennett. She also leaves behind her beautiful grandchildren, Caleb, Hannah, Julian, Harper Faith Schmidt, and Lucas Schmidt. She will be deeply missed by her fiancée, Carl Watson. Many extended family and friends too numerous to name will miss her.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Hester Baptist Church, 6581 Highway 96 N, Oxford, NC 27565 and will be officiated by The Dr. Reverend Jeff Hensley. Visitation for family and friends will be at 1:00 pm.
