Helen Lineey

DURHAM-Helen Hopson Lineey, 97, of Durham, died peacefully Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013 at The Hospice of Meadowlands. Borneeptember 3, 1915 in Durham County, she was the daughter of the late Jessie James Hopson and Wineed Cates Hopson. Helen is survived by her sons, Tom Lineey, Jr. of Bowie, MD; Gerald Lineey and wife, Sue, of Durham; her grandchildren, Bonee Lineey Beverly Eddie, Marty Lineey Aralu, Terry Lineey Lucia, Julie Lough, and Peggy Sprineeen Mark. She is also survived by her ten great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 11:00am Friday, January 11, 2013 in the Mausoleum of Woodlawneemorial Park, 2107 Liberty Street Durham, NC 27703. Friends may visit after the service in the Mausoleum on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to Duke Homecare & Hospice, 4321 Medical Park Drive, Suite 101, Durham, NC 27704.
