Harold James Wiles

OXFORD: Harold James Wiles, age 73, died Saturday, August 28, 2010. He was native of MA and a resident of Granville County since 1964. Mr. Wiles was veteran of the US Navy from 1955 to 1958, owner and operator of Wiles Roofing Company, an avid fisherman and a NASCAR fan. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Meadowview Memorial Park by Rev. Wes Garner, Jr. with military honors. Surviving is his daughter, Lori W. Elliott of Cary; his sons, Leonard Wiles of Oxford, Keith Benson of Tarboro, Edward Benson of Charlotte; his sisters, Ruth Stone of Holiday, FL, Eleanor Howell of Huntsville, AL, and Carol Fernette of Colorado Springs, CO; his brother, David Wiles of Northboro, MA; nee grandchildren and one great granddaughter. He was preceded ineeath by his wife, Lorrainee. Wiles. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:30 PM on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Home, 503 College Street, Oxford, NC.
