OXFORD: Gwendolyn Sherman Critcher, age 76 of Oxford died Sunday December 11, 2011. A native of Granville County, she was the daughter of the late CR and Mildred Day Sherman. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 PM Wednesday at Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Home and other times at the home. Burial will be private. Surviving are; sons, Alton Critcher of Wake Forest, Lyle Critcher Holly of Raleigh; her brother Horace Lucille of Kittrell; 2 grandchildren, Kelsey and Abigail Critcher of Wake Forest.
