Grace Ginger Giddings Pearce

Grace "Ginger" Giddings Pearce, age 86, died Tuesday morning, neember 10, 2009 ineer Franklinton home. She was born in Mt. Olive, NC to the late Joseph and Daisy Martin Giddings. Ginger worked as a floral designer for many years and was involved in the Franklinton Woman's Club, the Americaneegion Auxiliary and the Garden Club. Ginger is survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded ineeath by her husband, Thilbert Howard Pearce; and her son, Thilbert Howard Pearce, II. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, neember 12, 2009 at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, Franklinton Chapel, 504 E. Mason St. in Franklinton. The Reverend Clyde Waiden will officiate. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 PM in the funeral home. Flowers are acceptable. A private burial will be held in Fairview Cemetery at a later date.
