Mrs. Geneva Dickinson "Peggy" Williams, 92, of Carview Rest Home, and formerly of Chapel Hill, NC died Friday, June 21, 2013 at Careview Rest Home in Snow Camp, NC. Mrs. Williams was born in Rowland, NC on January 17, 1921. She was the daughter of George Herefield Dickinson and Jessica Pet Jackson. She was married to Floyd Jackson Williams, Sr. She and Floyd owned Williams Pure Oil Service Station oneest Franklin St. in Chapel Hill for many years. After they sold the business, Peggy operated a daycare from her home at 417 Severin St., where they resided for 50 years. She is preceded ineeath by her husband, her parents, her son, Jack Williams, Jr., her daughters, Sandra Perkins & Linda Arrington, and a granddaughter, Michelle Arrington. She is survived by her daughter Carol Lockwood and her husband Harold, of Sanford, NC; eight grandchildren; and nee great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7-9PM, Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Hall-Wynne Funeral home in Pittsboro, NC. A funeral service will be held 11AM, Wednesday, June 26, 2013 in the chapel of Hall-Wynne. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens off of Old Hwy 86. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Careview Rest Home, 2701 Moon-Lineey Rd., Snow Camp, NC 27349. Arrangements are under the care of Hall-Wynne Funeral Service and Cremation of Pittsboro.
