CHAPEL HILL - Foteni ???Frances??? Eliadis, age 63, passed away at home in Chapel Hill, North Carolina on Sunday, January 18, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. She was born neember 17, 1951 in Tarpon Springs, Florida. She grew up in Chapel Hill and studied at Chapel Hill High School before graduating from the Uneersity of North Carolina in Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Relations in 1973. Her career highlights included Proctor and Gamble as well as a successful sales career at Xerox in Nashville, TN and Raleigh. She retired in 2006 oneer 55th birthday. The great loves of her life included the Tar Heels, Puppies, Lipstick, and World Travel. Frances was a very active member of St. Barbara???s Greek Orthodox Church in Durham, participating in the Philoptochos Society as well as a past member of the Church Council. She is survived by her loving siblings, John Eliadis and Helen Eliadis, her sister in law, Deborah Gallo, as well as her cousins the Calos and Wolfe families. Also survived by her loved and cherished friends from all over the world whom she referred to as her ???Family of Choice???. Foteni was preceded ineeath by her parents, Elias ???Leo??? Eliadis and Lula Eliadis. Friends may visit from 6:00-8:00 pm Friday, January 23rd at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service with the Trisagion litany at 7:00pm. The funeral service will be offered 11:00 am on Saturday, January 24th from St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church with Fr. Stavroforos Mamaies officiating. Graveside rites will be 11:00am Wednesday, January 28th in El Camino Memorial, San Diego, California, to be close to her sister, Helen In lieu of flowers, Foteni requested that donations be made ineer memory to St Barbara???s Greek Orthodox Church Building Fund, 8306 NC HWY 751, Durham, NC 27713.
