Faye Mcbroom Husketh

Faye McBroom Husketh, age 75, died on August 24, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Vance McBroom and Louise Clark McBroom. Faye was born in Orange County on December 13, 1945.

Faye was raised in Orange County in Hurdle Mills, NC. She met her husband of 46 years and raised a beautiful family. Faye drove a bus for Durham County schools for 9 years. Her husband, Benny retired, and the family moved to Oxford, NC. Faye was a woman who loved to cook and loved to shop. She was a wonderful mother and wife and will be greatly missed.

Faye is survived by her son, James B. Husketh, Jr of Henderson, NC; her daughter, Christy H. O’Neal (Travis) of Creedmoor, NC and their sons, Tyler and Caden O’Neal. Faye will be deeply missed by numerous loving friends and family.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James “Benny” Husketh, Sr.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021, at 10:30 am at South Granville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive visitors at the home at 1027 Bulldog Dr, Creedmoor, NC 27522.

Flowers are welcomed or memorials may be made in her honor to St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
