Faye Dean Daniel

Faye Dean Moore Daniel age 86 passed away on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021, at her home in Coats.
Mrs. Daniel was born in Harnett County, NC to the late James Archie & Mamie Bledsoe Moore on May 25,
1935.

Mrs. Daniel is preceded in death by her husband Harold Garland Daniel, sister Frances Moore Cooke,
brothers Eugene, Richard, Paul & James, Jr. Moore.
She is survived by her son Gregory Harold Daniel, daughter Teresa Faye Daniel, beloved granddaughter
Mariah Faye Dempsey & husband Joel of Butner; great grandchildren Candice, Tamaya, Mason, Teianna &
Tylor Dempsey; special niece Pat Cooke and husband, Larry Godwin of Coats.
She also leaves behind many loved nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

Mrs. Daniel graduated from Coats High School in 1953 and moved to Raleigh where she joined the staff of
The News & Observer. After her marriage, she moved to Butner where she and her husband started D & S
Distributors in Durham. After selling that business she worked with the Herald Sun Newspaper. She moved
back to her hometown three years ago.

A private graveside service will be held on September 8, 2021, at the Daniel Family Cemetery in Creedmoor, NC.
Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Pleasant Memory Baptist Church, 570 Old Stage
Road, Coats NC 27521 or to the Coats Museum, P O Box 1294 Coats, NC 27521.
The family will receive family and friends at the home of Joel and Mariah Dempsey Wednesday from 11:00 to
1:00.
