Emma Lou Goodwin

Emma Lou Lloyd Goodwin, age 91, died peacefully Friday, March 21, 2014 at the Carolina House in Chapel Hill. She was born in Raleigh, NC to the late Eugene W. and Flora Beasley Lloyd on March 1, 1923. Emma Lou worked at CCB for many years before her retirement in 1965. She was a member of Cedar Fork Baptist Church aneenjoyed her many trips to Ocean Isle Beach. Emma Lou is survived by her son, Barry Goodwin and wife, Sherrie Eisleben, of Raleigh, NC. She was preceded ineeath by her husband, Billy Sunday Goodwin and her son, William Lloyd Goodwin. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 24, in Maplewood Cemetery, Section 16, with the Rev. Forest M. Gale, Jr. presiding.
