Ellen Williams Goodwin

Ellen Williams Goodwin, 89, died Saturday morning, May 14, at home in Ormond Beach, FL. She was born in Granville County, NC to the late Crawford Coleman and Lucy F. Clark Williams. Mrs. Goodwin moved from Durham to Ormond Beach, FL in 1993. While living in Durham she was a charter member of Bethesda Uneed Methodist Church. Mrs. Goodwin is survived by her two sons, Thomas Jerry Goodwin and wife, Pat, of Ormond Beach, FL; William Bill Arthur Goodwin of Newport, NC; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded ineeath by her husband of 67 years, Thomas Tom Goodwin, who died in 2002. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, May 19, in Old Maplewood Cemetery, Section R, near the intersection of Maplewood and Morehead Avenues. Reverend Will Jackson of Bethesda Uneed Methodist Church will preside. Friends may visit Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at Hall-Wynne Funeral Home.
