Elizabeth Victoria Turner

Elizabeth Victoria Turner flew away to heaven on Saturday, October 20, 2007, after an extended illness and a courageous life. Her loved ones surrounded her and helped her oneer way. Born August 4, 1985, Elizabeth was a happy girl who spread smiles like ripples in a pond. She was a beacon of light for her family. Her courage in the face of adversity and her stamina, laughter, and hugs changed the lives of many people, most of all her family. She breathed her life in to her parents, James and Toni Turner and taught them to play and run and laugh as only a child can do. Elizabeth showed them that life happeneevery day and that smiles canee seen through tears. Elizabeth loved Beanie Babies, dolls, the beach, riding horses, birthdays, videos, aneeverybody she met. Unlike most of us as teeneers, she loved going to school, her teacher, and riding the bus. She had a ready smile for anyone and neer met a stranger. Preceding her ineeath, her grand parents, George aneeula Thompson and James and Pearl Turner saw the sun rise ineer eyes and celebrated life in a different way when Elizabeth came into the world. She will be missed by her loving aunts, unees, and cousins, and by her special cousin, Melanie, who was always there for her as a sister would be. Though her life was short and she endured an immeasurable amount of physical discomfort, Elizabeth led the way to the lightness and oxygen of life. We thank you, sweet Elizabeth. Funeral services will be held 2 pm Tuesday at the Union Grove Uneed Methodist Church, Orange County. The Rev. Rich Greenway will preside. Burial will be in Mt. Lebanon Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Hall-Wynne Funeral Home from 7 to 9 pm Monday.
