Elizabeth Covington

Elizabeth Michelle Covington, 55, quietly passed away October 25, 2021, at her home in Pacific Palisades CA, after a valiant 15 month battle with glioblastoma, a form of brain cancer.   She was predeceased by her stepmother, Trish Covington, half-sister, Lindsay Covington, maternal grandparents, Kathleen and O. G. Allen, paternal grandparents, Bonnie and Glenn Covington, all of Durham NC.

Michelle attended Durham Public Schools, East Carolina University and Mitchell's Academy.  For the past 24 years she worked as a hair stylist in Durham NC, West Palm Beach FL, Charlotte NC and Santa Monica CA.

Michelle is survived by her beloved wife, Betsy Spier, and Sammy, their cat, of the home, her mother, Anne Allen Covington, father, Charles Glenn Covington, both of Durham NC, and half-brother, Jeff Covington and wife, Suzanne, of Denver CO.

Everyone who knew Michelle loved her.  She was a very caring person and was always concerned with others feelings.  Before her death, she requested that in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to:
