Eleanor Dixon Foster

Eleanor Dixon Foster, age 95, of Oxford passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022, at Granville Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Robert Luther Dixon and Ruth Fuller Dixon. Eleanor was born in Hoke County, NC on May 9, 1927.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at 11:00 am at Banks United Methodist Church, Wilton, NC and  the Reverend Daniel Knapp will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the cemetery.

Survivors include her brother, Marshall Dixon, sister-in-law, Betsy Dixon, her special niece, Denise Dixon Smith and numerous other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Foster, her parents, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

The family will receive friends at 10:00 am on Wednesday, December 6, 2022, in the Church.
