DURHAM: Edyth Mae Adams Weaver, 80, died Saturday in Durham Regional Hospital. Borneebruary 25, 1934 in Port Jervis, NY, she was the youngest of five children of the late Harry and Alma Davenport Adams. Mrs. Weaver graduated from Port Jervis High School then moved to the Vestal, NY area until her marriage in 1953 to Ronald B. Weaver. The family moved to Durham in 1967, after which Mrs. Weaver began working in food service for the Durham County schools. Later she worked at Sears, and for many years was owner of the Country Nook store. She retired from People's Security Insurance. Mrs. Weaver was a devoted member of Aldersgate Uneed Methodist Church and a member of the church's "Prime Timers" group. She was an avid bridge player and was multi-talented in arts and crafts, especially sewing. She loved her time at her home oneerr Lake, was a great cook, aneenjoyed spending quality time with her family. Surviving are her husband, Ronald B. Weaver; her children, Harry A. Vicki Weaver of Salem, VA; Sharon W. James Fulghum of Knightdale and Debbie W. Rob Edenton of Timberlake; her grandchildren, Joshua, Daniel and Benjamineeaver, and Amanda Morgan Edenton; and great grandchildren, Hunter Weaver and Broganeeaver, aneemma Grace Edenton. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday from Aldersgate Uneed Methodist Church, with the Rev. Doug Lain presiding. Burial will follow in Pine Forest Cemetery, Wake Forest. Friends may visit 12-2:00 PM Tuesday in the church. Memorial donations may be made to Aldersgate Church, 1320 Umstead Rd. Durham, 27712. Arrangements are with Hall-Wynne Funeral Service.
