Edward Howard Hill

Oxford: Edward Howard Hill , 79, of Oxford, died Saturday May 9, 2015. A native of Charleston, SC, he was the son of the late Hugh and Margaret Ann Hill. He was a retired draftsman, a member of Westwood Pentecostal Holiness Church, and a veteran of the US Coast Guard. Graveside services will be conducted at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Meadowview Memorial Park by Reverend Cleveland Harrison. The family will receive friends from 11:00AM ??? 11:45AM prior to the service at Gentry neell & Vaughan Funeral Home, and at other times at the home of Kathy and Beverly Royster at 300 Grove Street Oxford, NC. Surviving are his son Howard Kenneth Hill of Butner and daughter Kathy Lynn Royster (Beverly S.) of Oxford; a brother, Jimmy Hill of South Carolina and a sister, Sarah Mellard of Arkansas. He has five grandchildren, Christopher Robert Sparks of Henderson, Aaroneelly Royster of Oxford, Kristian Ann Long of Stem, Schuyler Renee Hill of Creedmoor, and Kacie Nicole Vaughan of Youngsville. Also there are four great-grandchildren, Hayle Rose Sparks and Zanne Abbott Sparks of Henderson, John Jameson Long and Keneegh Ann Long of Stem.
