Eddie Mitchell passed away at his home in Greensboro, NC oneednesday, June 7. ??He was 27 years old, and born in Durham, NC on July 15, 1989. He attended Jordan High School in Durham and went on to study culinary arts. ??Eddie had a love for cooking aneenjoyed many years of being in the kitchens of Durham and surrounding areas.????He also enjoyed being outdoors hunting, fishing or just giving his time to friends. ??He had a great love for people and the most wonderful??contagious smile and laugh. He is survived by his mother and stepdad, Julie and Dan Franks, two brothers, C. Scott Mitchell of Pittsburgh, PA and Joseph E. Mitchell of Chapel Hill, NC. ??His grandparents are Velma Hill of Durham, NC and C. Nordell Hill of Alton, IL. ??He had many loving Aunts and Unees as well; Mary Jane (Hill) and Mark Vigna of Durham, NC, Greg and Sheri Hill of Alton, IL and Alan and Gail Hill??of Sharpsburg,??GA. ??His cousins are Allison Vigna of Durham, NC, Greg, Alan and Joshua of Alton, IL and Justin and Matthew of Sharpsburg, GA. ??He is also survived by his biological father, Edward F. Mitchell, Jr. Those who would like to honor Eddie and visit with his family are invited to a visitation on Thursday, June 15th??from 6:00pm to 7:00pm with a short memorial service to??follow??at 7pm at the Hall-Wynne Funeral Home, 1113 West Main Street, Durham, North Carolina. ??
