Doris Marshburn Sorrell

DURHAM- Doris Marshburn Sorrell, age 93, died Saturday, July 4, 2015 at Eno Assisted Living. Born August 30, 1921, she was the daughter of the late George Garland Marshburn aneella Elizabeth Earp Marshburn. She was preceded ineeath by her husband, Garland Ross Sorrell. Doris was known for her big smile and her undying love for her family and her Lord. Doris was longtime member of Bethesda Baptist Church, where she was a member of Martha???s Sunday School Class and the Ladies Jolly Group. Surviving are her children, Tina Johnson and husband, Glenn, and, C.G Sorrell and wife Brenda; all of Durham; 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 11:00am Wednesday at Bethesda Baptist Church, with the Rev. E. Hugh O???Shields officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
