Donna Marie Christy Flowers

Henderson ??? Mrs. Donna Marie Christy Flowers, 67, wife of the late Stephen Flowers, died Wednesday afternoon at Duke Regional Hospital in Durham. Mrs. Flowers was born January 7, 1950 in Washington, DC and grew up in the DC area. After marrying the love of her life in 1974, they moved to the Youngstown, OH area where they raised their two children. After her husband's passing, the family relocated to NC in 2002, where she was employed as a team leader for Target. She had a tireless work ethic and considered her coworkers to be great friends. Mrs. Flowers was very close to her entire family, and dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren. She looked forward to watching her two grandkids every week. She is survived by her children, Spencer Flowers, and his wife Leigh Ann, of Apex, NC, and Dru Anna Flowers of Denver, CO; father, Michael Passas of Henderson; grandchildren, Hadley and Braden Flowers; and her sisters, Barbara Russell of Arlington, VA, Susan McHugh of Merritt Island, FL, Berneette Pessango, of Viera, FL, and Georgia Hall, of Aneer, NC. Mrs. Flowers was preceded ineeath by her husband, Stephen, her mother, Mary Jane (Morton) Passas, and her brother, Christopher Passas. The family will receive visitors Saturday afternoon from 4-6pm at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, 1113 W. Main Street, Durham, NC 27701.
