Dollye W. Nordgren

DURHAM: Dollye W. Nordgren, 78, died at home Tuesday. A native of Greenville, Miss., she attended Whitman College in Walla Walla, WA. Mrs. Nordgren lived most of her adult life in the Chicago area, where she raised her four children, and owned and operated her own travel agency. She had been a Durham resident for the last 15 years. Mrs. Nordgren enjoyed travel and was fortunee to go abroad on many occasions. She was a voluneer at the Durham Convention and Visitors Bureau for several years, where she received citations for exemplary service. Surviving are her children, Lauren DuBois of Frankfort, IL, Carl Nordgren of Durham, Robert Nordgren of Athens, GA aneerik of Chicago; her grandchildren, Belen Tokarski, Rachel Castellanos, Aneew Skeens; Sarah Rose, Brita and Krista Anne Nordgren; Matthew, Marcus and Jeffrey Nordgren; and Mica and Annalise Nordgren.
