David Adcock Powell

Oxford: David Adcock Powell, age 60, died March 26th 2013 at the Jaycee Burneenter at UNC Hospital. He was a native of Granville County and was the son of Edward S. Powell and the late Kathlyn Adcock Powell. Member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church and was Past Master of Rolesville Masonic Lodge #483. He was formally employed in the food service industry. Memorial services will be conducted on March 30th at 11am at the St. Stephen's Episcopal Church by Reverend James Pahl. Following the service, the family will receive friends in the Parish Hall. In addition to his father he is survived by, sister, Ruth P. Hicks of Oxford; brother Sholar Powell Jr. of Wilmington. The family requests that memorials be made to the Jaycee Burneenter at UNC Hospital, 101 Manning Drive, Chapel Hill, NC 27599.
