Daniel W. "Danny" Grigg

Oxford: Daniel ???Danny??? W. Grigg, 73, of Oxford died Tuesday December 29, 2015. He was a native of Illinois, son of the late Forest Leland and Glenneelam Grigg. He was a faithful member of West Oxford Baptist Church, a devout Christian, and a descendant from a long line of Baptist ministers. He always strove to love others the way that Jesus loved them. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was also a veteran of the US Army. Surviving are his wife Dorothy Terry Grigg; two sons Jeffrey Grigg (Karen) of Oxford and William ???Bill??? Porchie of Alton IL; a daughter Cherie Ingold of Roxana IL; a sister Marlyneeavis (Ray) of Bartonville IL; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Danny was preceded ineeath by a brother Floyd Grigg and a sister Lucille Grigg. Funeral Services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Saturday, January 2, 2016 at West Oxford Baptist Church by Reverend Wes Garner, Jr. Burial will occur at a later date with military rites. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM ??? 12:00PM in the church fellowship hall prior to the service.
