Daniel Dan Alexander Stovall

BULLOCK: Daniel "Dan" Alexander Stovall, a resident of Townsville Rd., Bullock died Sunday October 3, 2010 in Brantwood Nursing Center. He was a native of Granville County and was the son of the late Alexander Stovall and Nanee Norwood Stovall. He was co- owner of Stovall's Gifts, a member of Hester Baptist Church and a veteran of the US Air Force during the Korean War. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday October 5, 2010 at 3:00 PM in the Gentry-neell & Vaughan Chapel by the Rev. Leslie Giles. Burial will be ineester Baptist Church Cemetery. Surviving is his wife of 57 years, Julia Brooks Stovall; son Michael "Bear" Stovall Brenda Ayscue of Oxford; daughters, Nan Stovall Howells Robert and Julia Stovall Overton all of Oxford; sisters Edith Broadbent of Utah aneesther Thompson of Wilmington NC; seven grandchildren, Tracie Haley Danny, Jenneer Parrott Scott, Christie Lawrence Brian, Daniel Brooks Stovall, Leigh Anne Stovall, Michael Lee Overton and Casey Overton; four great grandchildren, Lineey Haley, Madison Brooks Haley, Aneew Lawrence and Joshua Lawrence. He was preceded ineeath by sisters, Margaret Stovall Critcher, Barbara Stovall Finch and brothers, Gordon Stovall and Hunter Stovall. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:30 PM until 2:45 PM prior to the services. At other times they will be at the home.
