Charles Thomas Donegan

Charles Thomas Donegan, age 72, passed away suddenly on March 3, 2024 at his home in Treyburn, NC. Thomas was born in St Petersburg, Florida to Charles Kendall Donegan MD and Margaret Donegan. 

 He is survived by his sister Anna Donegan of Chapel Hill, NC, his sister Martha Donegan MD and her husband Kenneth Sherban MD of Lynchburg, VA and their children Diana Sherban and Alexander Sherban MD. In college at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, Thomas was a member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity and the Order of Gimghoul. He started a land development company and was proud of his many projects in the Research Triangle. Playing golf and socializing with his friends were his favorite past times. The family is very grateful to his best friends who are planning a memorial service and celebration of his life at Treyburn Country Club. The celebration of life will take place at Treyburn Country Club on Sunday, April 7th,2024 from 3:00PM-5:00PM.
