Carol Hunt Quinlan

Carol Hunt Quinlan, 73, passed away Monday, May 7, 2007 at her farm in Chatham County. Born in Carrboro, she was the daughter of the late Onyx Samuel Hunt and Juanita Talbert Hunt. Carol was a member of Carrboro Baptist Church where, in 1951, she was married to Percy Hall Quinlan, Jr. After more than 30 years, Mrs. Quinlaneetired from UNC Hospital as Director of Medicine and Psychiatry. She was a lifelong member of the Durham Kennel Club and loved her Shelties, the outdoors and gardening. Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Percy Quinlan, Jr.; one son, Chuck Quinlan and his wife, Amy, of Apex; three grandsons, Christian, Hunter and Logan; and her aunt, Ruby Hunt Merritt of Carrboro. She was predeceased by her brother, Charles Onyx
