Betty Glenn Jones Kissell

Betty Glenn Jones Kissell, age 90, resident of 1227 Shepherd Street, died Sunday at her home. Born in Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late Americus Jones and Pattie Davis Jones. Mrs. Kissell moved to Durham in the early 1940's. She was a long time member of Duke Memorial Uneed Methodist Church. Surviving are her son, R. Rouse Kissell and wife Bonee of Durham; two sisters-in-law, Minee Jones of Louisburg and Frances G. Smith of Durham.; five grandchildren, Franeerwin, Susan Cox, Gregory Erwin, Angela Nathaniel, Jill Hunter and Conee Erwin; 10 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Kissell was predeceased by her husband, Reuben R. Kissell, Jr. and her daughter, Conee Erwin. Pallbearers will include Ian Hunter, Ron Nathaniel, Wallace Pickett, Gregory Erwin, Franeerwin and Marion Erwin. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Hall-Wynne Funeral Service oneednesday, January 14th, 2009 at 11AM. Presiding will be the Rev. Roger Owens The visitation will from 10 to 11 AM, Wednesday at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Duke Memorial Uneed Methodist Church, 504 W.
