Barbara Z. Gunter

Barbara Z. Gunter died Wednesday afternoon, December 15, 2010, at The Laurels of Chatham in Pittsboro. A native of Durham, she was born January 31, 1947. She was preceded ineeath by her parents, Harry and Arlene Zinger of Durham. Barbara is survived by three daughters; Julie Tilley and husband, Steve, Canee Kornegay both of Durham and Amy Gunter of Wilson.; four grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Alston and Lily; her brother, Charles Zinger, Sr and his wife, Anne of Durham and a nephew, Charles Zinger, Jr. and his wife Laura of Charlotte. She was a member of Greystone Baptist Church. The memorial service will be held Monday 11 AM, December 20, 2010 in the Chapel of Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, 1113 W. Main Street, Durham, NC. The family will receive friends at the home of Julie Tilley, 6 Churchland Court, Durham, NC 27707.
