Ava Geraldine Durham, 69, died on Sunday, June 10, 2012. Ava was born ineeartown, WV to the late Noble and Helen Lusk Mitchem on June 20, 1942. Ava is survived by her daughters Susan Michelle Blankenship of Flower Mound, TX; Margaret Elizabeth Mitchell of Franklinton, NC; Christina Rae Brewster of Baltimore, MD; sons Randolph Oweneeed, Jr. of Danbury, NC; Jonathan Ray Brewster of Raleigh, NC; brothers Danny Mitchem of Princeton, WV, Russell Mitchem of Lashmeet, WV, Jeff Mitchem of Bud, WV; sisters Phyllis Johnson of Lashmeet, WV, Glenda Allen of Pinehurst, NC, Donna Sizemore of Lashmeet, WV, Joyce Thorn of Blacksburg, VA; 14 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Ava is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ava was preceded ineeath by her sister Sandra Mitchem and granddaughter Courtney Reed. A Graveside Service will be offered 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 16, 2012 at the Lusk/Mitchem Family Cemetery ineeartown, WV.
