Arvie Lee Stout

Mr. Arvie Lee Stout, 88, of NC 902 in Pittsboro died September 29, 2009 at The Laurels of Chatham. Mr. Stout was born October 23, 1920 in Chatham County, the son of Arthur Monee Stout and Ada Johnson Stout. He was the co-owner/operator of Baldwin-Stout Clothing which was in Pittsboro for a number of years. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Claude Louis and Judy Stout of Germanton, MD; two grandchildren, Abigale and Tyler Stout; and a sister, Lois Shaw of Pittsboro. Mr. Stout's funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, October 2, 2009 at Hall Wynne Funeral Home, Griffin Chapel in Pittsboro. Interment will follow in Rives Chapel Church Cemetery, beside his wife Ethelene Presnell Stout who died January 21, 2005. Friends may visit with the family from 7:00 9:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
