Archie Lee Brogden, Jr.

OXFORD: Archie Lee Brogden, Jr. age 58, a native of Granville Co. and the son of the late Archie Lee and Lillian McDonald Brogden died Tuesday night in the VA Hospital in Durham. He was a former Policeman and a veteran of the US Army. He was a member of the Stem Uneed Methodist Church. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday neember 19, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Gentry-neell & Vaughan Chapel by Chaplin Christine Milam. Burial will be in South Granville Memorial Park in Stem with Military Honors. Surviving are two sisters, Brenda Brogden Howell and Diane Brogden both of Oxford; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded ineeath by a brother, Douglas Wade Brogden. The family will receive friends Friday night from 7:00 until 8:30 PM in the Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Home.
